December Freeze

Hats warm and cozy,cheery and cute. Not just any topper will suit. Has to cover my ears and make me look good to boot.

While watching Bianca climbing every kind of elevated surface that she can find as she makes the rounds around my house and I watch breathlessly at her daring and almost miraculous saves and near misses, I was reminded of the 'kids' baby goats that I saw on Mt. Elinor from way back when in my hiking days.   The very cute baby goats would try everything (just like someone I know) and the adults would watch carefully but let the kid take some amazing chances.  When the kids got into a really risky spot the parent goat would get down hill just behind the kid in case of a slip.  Mt Elinor

We've been out and about in the wind and falling leaves. Seeing nature is a delight with Bianca. Everything is a wonder through her eyes.

Happy Toddler

Babyhood has been left behind-that was fast. Now that she is an official toddler, Bianca as moved out of her enclosed play area. This look of glee was a result of opening the room for her to roam and toddle at her favorite speed which is as fast as her two little feet can carry her.

Comcast Blues

I'm ok now but I've just been in the pits of Comcast problems with internet connection outages. I thought I was a mature, calm and wise woman at this stage but I guess not. When it comes to the internet, all bets are off. I want it when I want it!

Multiple visits with as many opinions as technicians... just what was the problem?

How I felt after cumulative total of 28 hours waiting, waiting and waiting some more for phone calls and technician visits

The always maligned splitter - easily blamed but not the problem

Comcast heaven - 4 green steady lights. Finally given a modem that works I'm back on line. The two guys who finally fixed this were great-the so called Swat Team of comcast technicians. Why they all don't know what they are doing would be interesting to find out... and to end this story on another sad note. Just received my bill which was $78.00 above the normal amount so I have now spent another 20 minutes on the phone fixing that little problem or so I hope!

Dog Days of Summer

Nature Walk

The lowly dandelion is a weed or a wildflower depending on how you choose to look at it. Its a pretty yellow color and plentiful so something to behold on field of green grass. To Bianca its all good.
The woods, flowers and creek are right across the street at the Dragonfly Pavillion and Longfellow creek trail.
